Our Delivery and Returns Policy
At Bulk Construction Materials, we understand the needs of construction sites and the ever changing requirements of a typical site. With this, we have a contractor friendly delivery and returns policy. Being a customer centric organization, our decisions and policies puts the customer at the center.
Product Return Policy
Goods Incorrectly Delivered and not offloaded.
As a valued customer, no matter what size is your order, and location, you are entitled to refuse offloading of incorrectly delivered product. All goods declined on arrival will remain on our truck and will be transported to our nearest national depot at our own cost and correct product will be delivered within 48 Hours to you, free of any additional charges. This will include correct product but of an acceptable quality or damaged.
Goods correctly Delivered and offloaded.
We understand project scopes and their changes. Where correct products were delivered and offloaded but the project scope has changed and material is no longer needed, we accept product repurchase at cost, less any additional transportation charges. As a transparent organization, we endeavor to give our customers a fair deal that not only preserves their cash flow and profitability but also leave good memories from their interaction with us. Having a national presence, we are guaranteed to find a customer for your returned product. The products, once inspected for any damages or expiration, are taken to our nearest national depot and your refund processed within 3 to 5 days.
Orders Cancelled before Delivery Commences
Where an order is cancelled before delivery commencement, we provide a 100% refund, with no deductions whatsoever. We are a human run business and our management has a combined 60 years experience in the industry. We understand not only products, but the construction industry at large. No handling fees or bank charges will be deducted . We refund 100% of what you paid.

Our Delivery Policy.
Delivery Regions and Free Delivery Zones
We can deliver to any address in South Africa and the export world. We have marked Free Delivery Zones for each product based on our national presence of distribution centers and warehouses across South Africa. Displayed prices are final for deliveries to any of the selected Free Delivery Zones per each product. No additional transport charges will be added.
For Deliveries outside the nominated Free Delivery Zones, we will provide a separate transport Quotation based on transport from our nearest national depot.
Delivery Lead Times:
We update and display delivery lead times on a daily basis based on product availability and locations. Available products are sold on a first come first served basis. Being a national leading supplier, we do keep large volumes of our products at our distribution canters and we endeavor to deliver always on time. Should there be an unexpected shortage , we will inform you immediately and discuss potential delivery dates.
Product dimensions and Weights:
Having been project managers and site supervisors before, we understand the value of specifications. We endeavor to present product specifications as detailed and accurate as possible. We have included specifications and measurements as guidance.
Product Offloading and Installations:
Our advertised pricing excludes installation. Where installation is required , we will provide a separate Quote. Deliveries are done with the most economical truck size for your orders. Having been in your seat for quite long, we understand sites sometimes have traffic restrictions. Where you know your site has truck size restrictions, please include this in your order notes such that when planning your delivery , we factor this.
Product offloading is done right next to the truck. Should you need the product to be moved to back yards, or further from where a truck can access (more than 3 meters), you need to notify us in advance such that arrangements are made before we commence delivery.
